Wow, I remember when I was about 5 or 6 and I would wear a different headband everyday to go with my outfit. Well, the trend is back! Is this good or bad? I don’t know. I think its more “cute” than “sexy”. And it isn’t just one style of headband. There are some that are thin and more like elastic bands, and then there are some that are 3 or 4 inches thick and plastic (ouch). Rings are a tricky subject… If you are married, and your engagement ring band is gold, can you wear a silver banded ring on the same hand? Would that be considered clashing? Can you wear it on your right hand so maybe no one will notice. Maybe you just shouldn’t wear it all. I’m not married but sadly these thoughts have crossed my mind. Anyway, I have found some really cool rings for you to check out for great great prices. We just got a bunch in at the store and they are selling like crazy! They are of all colors and they can be solid colors or mixed, big and thick or small and thin. Also marcasite rings are in. I’m not a huge fan of it, but they are selling fast also. The marcasite rings go beautifully with bright clothing, like bright yellows and greens. Now have you wondered where you could get a designer ring for a real good deal? Of course you have, who hasn’t. Well I stumbled across a website that gives you the exact details of what to do. The thing is you can’t get that exact designer’s ring (Tiffany, Cartier etc), but you can go to a custom designer and he/she will get it so close that no one will notice! Who doesn’t love a great pair of earrings? They can dress up anything! And thanks to those celebs who wear their plain denim jeans but then decide to spice up their outfit with flashy diamond earrings. Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of shell earrings in shops for spring and summer. They are to die for too! For a while it seemed like handbags had to be the size of a large garbage bag, and although they are ideal for smuggling goodies into the movie theater, they just aren’t necessary. I think we are slowly starting to see normal sized handbags come back, yay! I found a great site that features many top-brand handbags and clutches that are in style www.purseblog.com . Some brief mentions on the site were that metal studs are making their way onto small clutches and animal prints are coming back…again. Celebrities are good at a lot of things, and one of them is setting those new trends for all to enjoy. I’ve been checking out different websites to see the what the hottest trends are in the ever-so-glamorous world of celebs. It seems that silver has overpowered gold for a long time, but lately I’ve seen more and more celebs wearing gold. I think it’s safe to say that gold is making a strong comeback. Here, we see Mary-Kate Olsen in dainty gold bracelets with two chunky rings, one with an elaborate stone bordered in gold mary-kate.doc. That’s another thing I’ve been running into lately- big, chunky rings with bright big stones. Well, spring is here and summer is soon to come so it’s time to put on those shades! This season, just as last year, the bigger the shades the better. I know celebs wear big sunglasses because they are trying to hide their identity as much as possible in public without wearing a paper bag over their heads, but of course we follow their lead and the ’cover-up’ trend for celebs has now become the trend for everyone! Every year and every season brings about new styles in the fashion industry.
